A receipt confirms that a payment has been received and recorded against a specific invoice. It is the document your accountant will want alongside the invoice.
When it becomes available
After we have verified the payment in our bank records and recorded it against the invoice. Your own bank transfer slip is proof that you sent the money, not that it was received and allocated, which is why the two documents are different.
Where to find it
- Sign in at crm.zylax.com.my.
- Open Invoices and click the relevant invoice.
- Open the payments section on that invoice, where recorded payments are listed with their dates.
- Download the receipt PDF for the payment.
A confirmation is also sent by email when a payment is recorded, unless you have turned payment notifications off in your profile.
What it shows
The receipt number, the payment date, the amount in MYR, the payment method, the invoice it was applied to, and your company details as we hold them. Check the company name is your registered name if your accounts require an exact match.
Partial payments
Each payment generates its own receipt. An invoice settled in three payments has three receipts, and the invoice itself shows the running balance.
If the receipt has not appeared
- Confirm the payment has cleared at your end, not just been scheduled.
- Send us the transfer receipt with the invoice number so we can match it.
- Where the payment reference was missing or the amount covered several invoices, matching takes longer.
Corrections
If your company details on a receipt are wrong, tell us and we will correct the record and reissue. Update your company profile at the same time so future documents are right.
Keeping records
Receipts stay available in the portal, but download and file your own copies for your accounting year.
If you need a receipt that is not showing, reply to the invoice email or write to [email protected] quoting the invoice number.
