All pricing is quoted in MYR and set out in a written quotation before any work begins. There are no hidden charges and nothing chargeable starts without your written approval.
The models we use
- Fixed price projects. For work with a defined scope, such as a website build or a specific feature. You know the total in advance. This is what most clients want and what we quote by default.
- Hourly or retained hours. For maintenance and for open ended work where the scope cannot be pinned down sensibly in advance. Time is logged against your tickets so you can see exactly where it went.
- Annual recurring. Hosting, domains, maintenance plans and third party licences. These renew on a yearly cycle by invoice.
What drives the number
Complexity, not page count. A five page site with a custom booking system costs far more than a twenty page brochure site. The main factors are custom design work, custom functionality, integrations with other systems, catalogue size, and how much content preparation is needed.
Payment terms
Projects are normally staged, with a deposit to begin and the balance at agreed milestones. Terms are stated on your quotation. Invoices are issued through the portal at crm.zylax.com.my and payable by bank transfer or DuitNow QR using the details printed on the invoice. Send us the payment reference so we can reconcile it quickly.
Ongoing costs to budget for
- Domain renewal, every year.
- Hosting, after the first year where it was included.
- Premium theme and plugin licences, annually.
- Maintenance, if you take a plan.
- Payment gateway transaction fees, paid to the gateway.
We list these on the quotation so the total cost of ownership is visible up front rather than arriving as a surprise in year two.
