Zylax invoices in Malaysian Ringgit, MYR. Every quotation, invoice and receipt shows amounts in MYR unless something different has been agreed in writing.
Paying from within Malaysia
Pay the exact MYR amount by transfer to our Maybank account or by DuitNow QR, using the invoice number as your reference. Nothing further is needed.
Paying from outside Malaysia
The amount that must reach our account is the MYR figure on the invoice. Your bank converts from your currency at its own rate on the day, so the amount debited in your currency will not exactly match any figure you calculated earlier. Plan for a small variance.
Bank charges on international transfers
International transfers often carry charges from your bank, from intermediary banks and sometimes from the receiving bank. These are your responsibility. Where charges are deducted in transit and less than the invoice amount arrives, the shortfall remains due and appears as a partial payment. To avoid a second transfer for a small balance, instruct your bank to send the full amount with all charges borne by the sender.
What we need from you
- The transfer receipt showing the amount sent and the transaction reference.
- The invoice number, in the payment reference field and in your message.
- A note if the payment covers more than one invoice, with the split.
Timing
International transfers commonly take two to five working days to clear, longer if they route through several correspondent banks. Allow for this against the invoice due date rather than sending on the due date itself.
Quotations for overseas clients
Tell us at quotation stage if you are contracting from outside Malaysia, so the correct treatment is applied to the document from the start rather than being corrected later.
Third party costs in foreign currency
Some licences and services are priced in foreign currency by their providers. The MYR figure on a renewal invoice moves with the exchange rate, which is why a renewal amount can differ from last year.
