The inclusions list on your quotation is the definitive statement of what is in your project. Here is how to interpret the items you will usually see.
Number of pages
A page is a distinct page with its own content and its own address. A blog with fifty articles counts as one page template plus the article template, not fifty pages. Where the count is exceeded, additional pages are quoted as add-ons.
Design
Typically covers the homepage plus the main inner page types, which are then applied consistently across the site. A quotation covering three template designs does not mean only three pages, it means three distinct layouts reused across all pages.
Responsive
The site adapts to desktop, tablet and mobile screens. This is standard on every build, not an extra.
Content management
You can edit the content yourself after handover. Which parts are editable depends on the build and is listed on the quotation. Changing layout structure normally requires development, not content editing.
Basic search optimisation
Page titles, descriptions, heading structure, clean addresses, a sitemap and correct indexing settings at launch. It is a technical foundation. Ongoing ranking work is a separate service with its own scope.
Contact and enquiry forms
Forms delivering to the email addresses you nominate, with spam protection. Complex multi step forms or forms writing into another system are usually quoted separately.
Revision rounds
The number of complete review cycles included. Corrections to our own errors never count against these.
Hosting and domain
Where included, the quotation states the period covered and the renewal frequency. Renewals after that period are chargeable.
Training and support
Any handover session and the post launch support period, with its duration.
If a term is unclear
Ask before accepting rather than assuming. A five minute question at quotation stage prevents a disagreement during the build.
