Add-ons are optional items priced separately from the main package. They let you extend a standard package without moving to a larger one you do not need.
Common add-ons
- Copywriting. We write the page text instead of you supplying it. Usually priced per page.
- Photography. Professional shots of your premises, team or products, arranged locally.
- Additional pages beyond the package count.
- Additional languages. A second language version, commonly Bahasa Malaysia or Chinese. Priced for the build plus the translated content.
- Payment gateway integration. Connecting an online payment provider, with the gateway's own fees separate.
- Third party integrations. Accounting software, courier systems, CRM or booking platforms.
- Advanced search optimisation beyond the technical basics included as standard.
- Maintenance plans. Ongoing updates, backups, monitoring and a monthly allowance of changes.
- Extra revision rounds.
Selected versus available
Your quotation distinguishes add-ons you have selected, which are in the total, from ones listed as available for information. Check which is which before accepting, and tell us if you want to change the selection.
One off versus recurring
Copywriting and integrations are one off. Hosting, licences and maintenance recur, and the quotation shows the frequency. Add the recurring costs up so you know the true annual figure before committing.
Adding one later
You can add most add-ons during the project through a written variation. The cost is usually the same, but the schedule effect grows the later you ask, since work already built may need reopening. Adding a second language during design is straightforward. Adding it during testing is not.
Removing one
Before acceptance, just tell us and we reissue. After work has started, an item already delivered is chargeable regardless.
What is not an add-on
Third party costs such as gateway transaction fees, domain registration fees and paid advertising budgets are paid directly by you to those providers.
