Handover is the formal end of the build. It transfers the finished work, the access, and the knowledge needed to run it.
What you receive
- The live site or system, deployed and verified on your domain with a working SSL certificate.
- Administrator access. Your own admin account with a password you set yourself.
- Hosting and domain details, where these sit with us or were set up by us on your behalf.
- A handover document listing what was delivered, where things live, and how to perform the routine tasks you will do most often.
- Third party account details for anything created for the project, such as analytics or a mail sending service.
Training
Where training is included on your quotation, we run a walkthrough session covering how to add or edit content, upload images, and check enquiries or orders. Record the session on your side if you want a reference, and invite everyone who will actually use the system rather than one person who has to teach the rest.
Ownership
On full settlement of all invoices for the project, the delivered work is yours. Third party components such as licensed themes, plugins or fonts remain under their own licences, and any renewable licence stays renewable. Your handover document lists anything in that category with its renewal date.
Support after handover
Your quotation states a post launch support period. During it, defects in what we delivered are fixed at no charge. New features, new pages and content changes are separate work and are quoted normally. When that period ends you can move to a maintenance plan or engage us as needed.
Accepting handover
We ask for a written confirmation that handover is complete. Check that you can log in to every account listed, that you can edit content, and that the handover document makes sense to you before you confirm.
Keep the document
Store the handover document and credentials somewhere your team can find them in a year. A copy also stays on your project record in the portal at crm.zylax.com.my.
For anything unclear after handover, reply to your email thread or contact [email protected].
