How to provide content, text and images

Content is the single most common reason a project slips. Here is exactly how to send it so it goes straight into the build without a round of cleanup.

Text

  • Send it as a Word or Google Docs file, one section per page, with the page name as a heading.
  • Write final copy, not notes. Text marked "to be confirmed" will end up on staging exactly as written.
  • Include page titles and short descriptions for search engines if you have them. If not, we will write them and send them for approval.
  • Do not send content as PDF, scanned images or WhatsApp messages. Retyping introduces errors and takes time you are paying for.

Images

  • Full resolution originals, straight from the camera or the photographer. We compress them for web ourselves.
  • Minimum 1600 pixels wide for anything used as a banner or hero image.
  • Name files usefully. "showroom-kl-front.jpg" tells us where it goes. "IMG_4471.jpg" does not.
  • Confirm you have the right to use every image. Photos pulled from Google search results carry real copyright risk and we will not publish them.

Logos and documents

Logos in vector format. Brochures, catalogues and price lists as the original files where possible, so we can extract text rather than embed a flat image.

How to send it

Use the file upload area on your project in the portal at crm.zylax.com.my. Files stay attached to the project, remain accessible to the whole team, and are not lost when someone changes email. For very large photo sets, a shared cloud folder link works too.

Sending content in stages

Partial content is better than nothing. Send the homepage and main service pages first so we can build the important templates, then follow with the smaller pages. Tell us which batch is which so we know what is still outstanding.

If you need help writing

Copywriting is available as an add-on. Ask before the build starts rather than halfway through, because it changes the schedule.

Reply to your email thread or write to [email protected] if you are unsure what a particular page needs.
