Every engagement with Zylax Technologies follows the same path, from the first enquiry through to a signed quotation and a live project. Knowing the sequence in advance saves you time and stops the project stalling before it begins.
The five steps
- Enquiry. You contact us by email, phone or the form on zylax.com.my. Tell us what you want built, who it is for, and any deadline you are working towards.
- Discovery call. We run a short call, usually 30 to 45 minutes, during Malaysian business hours. We ask about your current website or system, the pages or modules you need, who will supply content, and your budget range.
- Quotation. We send a written quotation in MYR listing the package, inclusions, add-ons, timeline and payment schedule. It arrives by email and is also available in your portal account at crm.zylax.com.my.
- Acceptance and deposit. You accept the quotation online, we raise a deposit invoice, and the project is scheduled once that deposit clears.
- Kickoff. We confirm the start date, name the point of contact on both sides, and send you the content checklist.
What decides the start date
Two things: the cleared deposit and your content readiness. We do not hold a production slot on a verbal go-ahead, because slots are booked in sequence and holding one blocks another client. If you have a hard launch date, say so at the quotation stage so we can check capacity before you commit.
What you should have ready
Domain registrar login or the ability to change DNS, hosting details if you already have hosting, your logo in a vector format, and a rough idea of the pages or features you want. None of this is required to get a quotation, but all of it is needed before build work starts.
A single named decision maker on your side makes the largest difference to how fast a project moves. Approvals that pass through three people take three times as long.
