How to update your company details

Your company details in the portal appear on every quotation, invoice and receipt we issue. Keeping them accurate avoids reissued documents and accounting problems later.

What we hold

  • Registered company name and registration number.
  • Billing address.
  • Company phone number and general email address.
  • Tax registration details where these apply to you.
  • Website address.

Updating them

Sign in at crm.zylax.com.my and open your company profile from the account or profile menu. Edit the fields you need and save. Depending on how your account is configured, some fields are editable directly while others are locked to preserve accounting accuracy. Anything locked can be changed by us on request.

Fields that need care

Your registered company name and registration number must match your official documents exactly, because these appear on tax invoices. An abbreviation or trading name that differs from your registration can cause your own accounts department to reject the invoice.

When your billing address changes

Update it before the next invoice run. Invoices already issued keep the address that was correct at the time of issue, which is normal accounting practice. If you need a reissue on a specific invoice, ask and explain why.

Changing your company name

Send us the updated registration document. We update the record and use the new name on all future documents. Historic documents remain as issued.

Contact email versus login email

Your company email address is where general correspondence goes. Your login email is personal to your user account. Changing one does not change the other, so update both if a person has left and their address is used for both.

Check it once a year

A quick annual review catches an old address or a disconnected phone number before it appears on a document you need for an audit.

To change a field you cannot edit yourself, reply to your email thread or write to [email protected] with the correct details.
