How to manage your notification preferences

The portal emails you when things happen on your account. You can control which of those emails you receive so the important ones do not get lost among the routine ones.

What triggers a notification

  • A new invoice is issued, or an invoice becomes overdue.
  • A payment is recorded against your account.
  • A new quotation is sent to you.
  • A reply is posted on a project discussion.
  • A support ticket receives a reply or changes status.
  • A project milestone or status changes.

Changing your preferences

Sign in at crm.zylax.com.my, open your profile from the account menu, and look for notification or email settings. Turn off the categories you do not need. Preferences are per contact, so your settings do not affect your colleagues.

Which ones to keep on

Keep invoice and quotation notifications on. These carry deadlines, and missing an expiry or a due date has real consequences. Project discussion notifications are worth keeping on while a project is active, and are the ones most people turn off after handover.

If you are getting too many emails

Rather than switching everything off, split the load. Have finance staff receive invoice notifications and project staff receive project notifications. That way each person gets a short, relevant stream.

If notifications are not arriving

  • Check spam and junk, and any company mail quarantine.
  • Ask your IT team to allow mail from our domain at the gateway.
  • Confirm the email address on your contact record is current and monitored.
  • Check the preferences themselves have not been turned off previously.

Notifications are a convenience, not the record

Everything that generates an email is also visible in the portal. If you turn a category off, check that section in the portal periodically instead. Invoices in particular remain due whether or not the reminder email reached you.

If you are missing notifications you expect, reply to your email thread or write to [email protected] and we will check the settings from our end.
